August 12- Youth and Cinematography: Film Night with Online Panel

On International Youth Day, the Local Democracy Agency of Mostar is organizing a film night centered around the theme of Youth Cultural Participation.

Starting at 8:00 pm, several short films from the Western Balkans will be shown, followed by a panel discussion on the films. The screening will be preceded by an online discussion on the topic of Youth Cultural Participation.

The audience will have a chance to see Jelena Topić’s short documentary about the Rakiola Religion (BiH), a multi-award winning experimental film Residents of the Wall, directed by Andrej Bok (Serbia) and One For Her, One For Him by Ivan Bukvić (Serbia).

August 17- Samson Sounds

A leading band in the Scottish dance music scene, Samson Sounds brings positive energy to the dance floor. Guitars, trumpets, vocals and a host of other digital accompaniments create a new sound experience.

Coming from Glasgow, the band established themselves by performing at numerous festivals as well as smaller clubs. Their music is characterized by their energetic stage performance, where they mix genres of Blues, Dub, UK Steppas, Kwaita, and Jazz.
